Honestly I haven't seen a good movie since watching Independence Day in theaters July 3rd, 1996. Everything since has been fucking terrible, unbelievable capeshit.
DMCA, complaints, and other inquiries:
I've been lacking on well regarded movies. I have Thief. It's just the timing to appreciate a good movieAnother good movie with a score by Tangerine Dream I'd recommend is Thief with Jimmy Caan. We used to double-team Playmates at the Mansion, so I can call him Jimmy.
I recently rewatched "Heat", which is one of those movies that I simply can't get tired of. Finally got curious enough to check out "L.A. Takedown", which was Mann's first pass at the material.
So much of it was the same, and it really shows how much material can be elevated simply by stronger actors. Here's the "L.A. Takedown" version of the famous diner scene, for example.
Also watched the original version of "The Stepford Wives" on JewTube. Honestly, though the fashions and references were dated and very much of it's time, I would definitely recommend checking it out. It was a very interesting movie.
The acting wasn't as strong as "Heat", but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was just different enough to be a unique experience. Thanks for the reminder. I need to watch L.A Takedown, again.
Ridley Scott hates the Alien franchise. Yet still made two more Alien films (that were dogshit) recently. He's like that one guy from the original Star Wars movies that played Obiwan and hated how Star Wars overshadowed his "serious acting career".To his credit, Scott seems irritated with the whole thing and when asked if he has any final words he says "No."
- OpieI just saw Jaws recently for the first time. I never understood a lot of Ant’s references until now. I thought the lifeless eyes quote was just something he said all the time.
All in with tha Blood In Blood Out. Watched it with a bunch of Mexicans one time on Cinco de Mayo and a few of them got uhhfended that I thought it was funny. But with scenes like this, how am I not supposed to laugh?:Ridley Scott hates the Alien franchise. Yet still made two more Alien films (that were dogshit) recently. I watched "American Me" and "Blood In Blood Out" last week. Pretty underrated films. America Me was hilarious in that it showed the character based on an actual Mexican mafia member, a boss, get raped in jail as a kid and it turned him gay. And when his gang saw the film they killed a bunch of people who worked on the film (two officially confirmed, but another dozen alleged) for making their gang look like a bunch of fags.
I watched The Edge with Anthony Hopkins and revolver mishandling dolt Alec Baldwin. I forgot how stupid and preachy that film was and how ridiculous the entire affair subplot was. Still enjoyable but would have been much better if it was just a bunch of guys surviving in the woods not secretly planning to kill the boss for his money and wife.

He is part Mexican (although that could mean a lot of different things) and his last name is Chapa, but he looks white for sure. Part of what annoyed the people I was watching it with was I kept saying he looked like Michael J. Fox and I think it took them out of the movie. It's like The Godfather to those people.PFG film. The half mexican guy is a just a full blown h'whyte boy

UUUUTremors rules.
I couldn't get through the first Dune movie, largely thanks to that dead-eyed faggot Chalamet. Granted, I'm not a big guy
Is that Corey Feldman in the middle?
Copland is great. Fat Stallone ruled.Copland (1997)
It's considered mediocre but I think it rules. All in with the scumbag movies.
Another funny parody movie from the 80s that not a lot of people have seen is Rustler's Rhapsody. Marilu Henner is in that too. Sgt. Barnes plays Rex O'Herlihan the Singin' Cowboy. Andy Griffith is in it all old as shit. John Wayne's son Patrick Wayne has a cameo at the end as if Patrick Wayne is supposed to be a big deal. I've probably seen Rustler's Rhapsody and Johnny Dangerously like 100 times each, those were some of my favorite movies when I was a kid.Saw Johnny Dangerously a few months ago for the first time. It ruled
Chalamet is probably fine in movies that suit him but he's laughably miscast in Dune. By the end of the movie he's yelling like a theatre kid who wants to be all dramatic because it's his big role in the school production. Same with that Zendaya. She's got three expressions and only uses one for 90% of the movie. All they've really done is shove in a bunch of actors they think people want to see and it ends up horribly contrasting with actors putting in good performances like Skarsgard.I couldn't get through the first Dune movie, largely thanks to that dead-eyed faggot Chalamet. Granted, I'm not a big sci-fi guy, but having him as the main character in some epic was shit casting. He's not a bad actor, but he has no charisma, charm or anything else you expect from a movie star. He's really being pushed by Hollywood and, in that regard, is the latest in a string of duds for them.
not a profound criticism however it's hard to take an actress seriously when she always looks 15Zendaya.
