Alien is back in theaters for the 45th anniversary. Caught it last night. Check your local listings, pretty sure it's playing through Thursday. Word of warning: there's a stupid "conversation" with Ridley Scott and the director of the new Alien: Whatever Who Cares Give Us Your Money Stupids they play before the film. It spoils some of the best parts and would have been better as post-credits bonus, so consider walking in a bit late. To his credit, Scott seems irritated with the whole thing and when asked if he has any final words he says "No."

Deadstream was great it felt very similar to Evil Dead 2. It's about an obnoxious canceled live streamer that tries to make a comeback by doing a stream in a haunted house in the middle of the woods by himself. The actor nailed the cadence of those shitty soyfaced youtubers like Mr Beast.

Latest movie I saw was Late Night with the Devil. Ridiculously overrated. Basically just a rehash of the The Exorcist but with a 70s late night chat show gimmick thrown in. They don't even stick to the found footage premise either. Shite.

Completely agree. The hype around it immediately made me nervous, so I wasn’t surprised when it was shit. They barely even used the premise of their own movie. How long do we even see the kid being possessed? And it also bugged me that they couldn’t stick with the talk show footage format.

And @LockedHDD__Pot I recently saw Predator 2. It’s a movie in the Prey (2022) universe. But seriously folks, I fawkin loved that movie. Watched it twice in a week. I might prefer it to the original Predator.
