I would say that this isn't exactly true.

Look at the numbers for Israel. They got the vaccine first and it's like they never even got it, per the data. I think even they got swept up by having a vaccine for the worst disease ever in history and they all lined up to take it (their vax rate is very high). And they aren't doing any better for it.

That's a great post. Visual literacy is a White-European phenomenon (the Japanese have their own brand, it's no less sophisticated, but diverges radically into things like ikebana, shintoism, etc.).

The Jews have as one of their commandments that "Ye shall not have any graven images". This prohibition on images stunted their visual sense severely. It's fucking weird.

This layering of language comes with a layering of narratives. They tell each other that their holy books are said to be as follows: 1) Torah is the "Law", 2) Talmud is the "Soul of the Law", and 3) Kabbalah is "The Soul of the Soul of Law". Essentially, the narrative of the Torah serves as a blind for the Kabbalah which is itself a double blind... this is Rabbinical gymnastics and it's the reason their rhetorical skills are so slippery.
