Imagine taking this guy seriously. Even just his personal life. His mother wrote golden girls and he advocates for taking month long meditation retreats for your mental health. He’s so far removed from reality it’s no surprise he believes what he does.

Unfortunately he came into prominence during peak Reddit fedora atheist years and was worshipped for his atheism and bravery. It’s so brave to tell everybody what they want to hear and make a fortune doing it by selling books and “debating” morons, Sam!

When the zeitgeist was changing and people began to mock him he had a gigantic temper tantrum and humiliating breakdown and deleted his social media.

He’s a cautionary tale for me. I was one of those smarty pants atheists during that time and read all of those shit books by the “intellectual dark web” guys and was so self assured in my narrow minded and dogmatic thinking just like Jeb is now.

I literally thank God my eyes were opened instead.

I’m glad I’m not rich because I’d probably be like Sam Harris, replacing true meaning with womanly yoga retreats because I don’t have to worry about paying the bills.

The Total Mental Breakdown phase was fun but my favorite Sam Harris phase is the Ted Talk Era, where he transitioned from "public intellectual" to the soul of humanity. His fake/timed cry when talking about female African victims of Islam or whateverthefuck was funny shit.

This was around the time he went in with the Jew-breathing techniques as a fill-in for spirituality. Very deep stuff.

No, he’s just not that smart. Not as smart as he likes to be seen, that’s for sure. He isn’t an engineer or a scientist, he’s certainly intelligent to achieve what he has and I wouldn’t claim otherwise like some jealous Patrick Tomlinson type.

I don't think Elon is necessarily smart. He's not stupid but he's not a genius either. I say this as someone who has met him and spoken to him.

What I think Elon has is vision and standards. He makes decisions very quickly based on some internal rules he has. I don't think he strategizes like most people. It's more, "Does doing X get me closer to the goal?" and then he does it.

He has these standards in his business and it shows. It's also why his personal life is a wreck.

TLDR: Elon is an autistic business man who has the right interests at the right time.

OK but this is why I resent his position and influence. In an ideal world people like Elon wouldn't be forced to engage with politics and would be allowed to just do their work. But that isn't 2024. His brand of autism= emotionally retarded and as such he constitutionally cannot do politics. It's why he and other autists like JF Gariepy invariably resort to 90's style libertarianism and agnosticism. It's why he can't truly appreciate music, art, etc. And ultimately it's why he'll never be in a position to do more good than harm. It makes him so easy to manipulate politically, because there is no "there there." He's almost Chinese in this way.

He didn't do the Jew bit bc he's a pussy that got scared of Mossad, the CIA, etc. FFS he has weird dealings with the CIA going back a quarter of a century. He didn't do it bc he's a nihilist either- Elon broke down the intrinsically Jewish nature of George Soros with autistic precision ("He hates humanity" etc). He did the Jew bit bc ultimately life is a math problem for him. He ran the maths and putting on that stupid hat was logical (for him, personally). Stepping outside of himself, wrestling with western philosophy, true self-sacrifice for "his people" in a serious way (he would laugh at this as a precept) ...I guarantee you he rolls his eyes at all of this shit. As such, how can he be expected to do anything radical? And if he's not willing to be a radical in a full-stop Jewish oligarchy then what good can he possibly do?
