My dad is in his early 70s, comfortably retired and does three 8 hour shifts of unpaid volunteer work a week because he was going crazy just gardening and taking minibreaks.
Yeah, when my dad retired from teaching he would still teach one 4 hour class per semester at the same college just to have something besides golf to do.
