Successful writers might do this crowd-sourcing stuff just to engage with their fans, but the finished product should make it obvious that they did actual research and that they aren't just throwing shit at the wall. "Fake it till you make it" Pat can only pull off the "pretend to be incompetent just for laughs" part, except he's not pretending.

I guarantee it will not pass the Bechdel test and if it does, it's because i mentioned it here, Pat looked it up, and forced a scene to pass the Bechdel test.

I bet starship repo doesn't pass and Firstname Lastname is a female protagonist which makes it trivially easy

Most of his books do end up passing the Bechdel test, but it's only because he needs to make random characters female to flex his feminism.

Captain Kamala (the fictional one) will have a conversation about the ship with some random crew member, but that crew member will be female because females are superior to males when it comes to space travel.
