There are lots of accents here, Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins didn't help.
I did read that some southern accents were similar to I think East Anglian accents, because the first whites to move to parts of North Carolina (I think) were from places like Norfolk in England.

Lol but even if they do, who cares? He has nothing to say and a year wouldn't make a difference. The only thing more time does is increase how much he has to pay HIS own lawyer. In a month, he still has to tell the Judge why he's not paying his debts. He isn't there to litigate his case or anything else. He might as well get it over with. He's as dumb as they come.

A majority of cases would be delayed, and it's possible Pat's case will be delayed tomorrow.
However, the majority of cases don't have 50 pages of exhibits with the defendant stating he's not going to pay, disrespecting the court, or have multiple interviews stating he's not going to pay/can't pay what he owes.
