Death Stranding, Elden Ring, Monster Hunter World, Monster Hunter Rise. The PS5 controller is extremely fragile btw so make sure to take good care of it because there aren’t cheaper third party alternatives and they cost more than a new game. I only play PC these days but if I had to go back to console I’d get an Xbox mostly because of the controller situation and it’s half the price.

Death Stranding was so boring it may have been written by Pat.

Is Death Stranding worth it? I picked it up on one of the epic games free promos but it felt like it would be a boring game when I started it but I could be wrong.

Thanks Gassers. I’ll put that in for the next round of games. So far I have the GTA collection, Spider-Man, Cyberpunk, Mafia, Watchdogs Legion, and NHL 24.

I bought an Xbox One shortly after they came out literally just because they put some extra foliage that blows in the wind in GTA V. The one I have is a stupidly massive box and the controllers fucking suck. I had the same Xbox 360 controller the entire time I had it and nothing was wrong with it. I dropped the thing a ton of times and it was still good to go, it also felt substantial in your hands. The Xbox One controllers are made of some thin plastic that you can feel flex if you squeeze it. I've gone through honestly around 15 controllers because after a few uses the fucking joysticks get stick drift every fucking time.

I'd be happier just buying a ps2 and getting Fight Night Round 2, The Warriors, Bully and San Andreas.

When COVID started I downloaded Sleeping Dogs so I could run around China beating on chinks and I had way more fun playing that than any actual Xbox One game. I'm not gonna buy another console. I should've just hung onto the 360.

I thought about getting a PS5, but I haven't turned my PS4 on in over a year at this point. I have an 8 year old () pc with a 1050 Ti and it's still able to play all of the games I want, so it's just easier to use that. I don't care about graphic quality and frame rates though, admittedly.

God of War and Ragnarok, Spiderman, Spiderman Miles Morales, Spiderman 2, Last of Us Remake, Last of us 2 remake (soon). Horizon zero dawn, whatever the name of the 2nd game is. Death Stranding Directors cut (you want the PS5 version, runs silky smooth). Final Fantasy 16 which is a fav of mine. It's more western and not nearly as gay as other final fantasy games. It's pretty much Final Fantasy x Game of Thrones. Retchet and Clank Rift Apart (best visuals on PS5 IMO). Control, Alan Wake 2, Ghosts of Tshushima, GT7, Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 7/8/4, The Jedi fallen order games, Uncharted Legacy of Thieves collection for PS5. Callisto Protocol, Dead Space. Both of these are awesome especially if you're into the classic Dead Space type of horror games.

I just listed shit I have installed on my PS5. There's way more than that but it's a good start.

I think God of War for PS4 is really a good one to start with. To me it had the right balance of old school 'flow' and game play with modern graphics.

Haven't played Ragnarok so I can't vouch for that.

Will also vouch for Ratchet and Clank -- amazing graphics and it shows off the controller pretty well. But it gets repetitive and boring a few hours in.
