How much money were Opie & Anthony making throughout their run?

What the fuck does Keith care. He's getting paid 24/7 to hang out at a casino. Seriously though, I gotta hand it to Keith. The amount of cash he was able to grift out of him is goddamn impressive. At one point, Keith got pissed that Anthony was spending so much on random girls that he made him fork over dollar for dollar what he was shelling out on quim for his "kids college fund". His wife was making $60,000 a year for grocery shopping and laundry. Keith had P.A. duties, paid radio security gigs, job for the wife, hustle the boss here and there...dude did it right. 20 years NYPD with extra credit for volunteer FDNY, retire young with a fatass pension and hustle your alcoholic boss while you're at it. Opie this, Anthony that, you know who really came out on top? Keith.

Oh right, dealers don't give a shit what you do. They might get the pit boss if you're being a real asshole but then they look you up and see the spend.

Man I hope Keith got punched every turn (even if was Tranthasaurus's bird arms)
Dude is every negative cop stereotype: a product of nepotism, crooked, hands out PBA cards left and right, overpaid, over-pensioned, dimwitted, in bad shape and of diminutive stature... jury's out on if he harassed minorities or placed guns/drugs on people, but if shithead heeb Kenny did it I doubt he's far behind.

Despite being lazy, retarded scum he made millions.
I wouldn't be envious in a million years of O, A, or J, but I sure wish I could have a rich codependent retard fall into my lap. I hope Keith is traumatized from the bloody childrens' panties he had to burn or whatever .

Did Sirius pay for everyone's breakfast every day? Or would you just give the interns AntH's card? The whole situation is funny to me for some reason because it was all so elaborate and unnecessary.
No. Orders were separate. Jim gave you $8, Ant gave you a card. Kenny gave you his card for Opie and he'd invoice him. Get those orders correct, with the proper change and receipts, and you might be able to make it in radio.

Since you just did a Mitch quote, was he actually supposed to fawkin come in the day after he died? Opie met him and he wanted to be on da fawkin show. Or was Opie was just full of shit and taking advantage of the dead? I don’t remember when he died, it might have been after your tenure.

Yes.

Mitch was playing Caroline's that weekend. I was on the list with a plus one and took my buddy. He didn't want to pull into a garage and insisted we drive around for free street parking. We end up at a garage anyway and head to Caroline's where I'm told our seats were given away since we were late. I'm fuming with my buddy as we see Mitch walk in. We say hey real quick and head back to the car. He was dead the next day.

That sucks he was a truly unique talent. You ever meet Stanhope beyond just a hello?

Didn't Pat Duffy take a facefull of puke for the honor of getting Jim's Starbucks?

It doesn't justify how he was treated but no one made him do that or the dogshit at gunpoint. All the peer pressure in the world wouldn't force a non-retard to swallow a vomit pressure hose.

Still wish he beat up Sam though. That's one of the biggest OnA missed opportunities.

HA HA HOLE EE SHIT now I (sort of) get how the interns were constantly fucking this up. Sending a half-asleep dipshit college kid into a packed loud NYC deli during morning rush with three orders and three payment methods and an uncooperative check out guy rushing them

I assume the opester and, of course, yimmy had unnecessarily specific and complicated orders, as well. Thanks for providing the extra color!

It’s kind of sad that he wanted a job so bad that he showed up for free after his internship until the company told him he wasn’t allowed to be there.
Don't remember Stanhope in studio. I remember a few phoners. I might not have been there or was doing something else.
He didn’t have many appearances but in my opinion he’s the best comedian ever. Did any big names treat you like shit? Aries Spears has a bad reputation for treating his openers like garbage.

mitch had a run in with you and was dead the next day? did they rule out suicide as a possible motive for his drug overdose, by any chance?

as much as I'm #TeamOpie, I imagine he had some overly specific and ridiculous orders, as well

Here's a Reuters article about what Linger was saying: https://www.reuters.com/article/sir...lawsuit-for-1-3-million-idUSL1N10E1HT20150803

"The plaintiffs, who worked on the Howard Stern Show and other Sirius projects, claimed they worked up to 40 hours per week and were not paid, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York state’s minimum wage law.

The primary test used by courts in such cases is whether internships were designed primarily to educate young people in a particular field, as opposed to companies using unpaid workers for the same tasks performed by regular employees."
WWAWD educational value of picking up coffee?

The funniest shit about that is--I know this is before grubhub, etc., but couldn't you get food delivered to an office building in the "City of Manhattan" in 2008?

Eventually, Kenny became Master Of Breakfast to ensure order satisfaction. That's why I could never take him seriously. Like, OK dude, go get a pop-tart or whatever it is you do. I really don't care what Opie's maid has to say. Dude was great on trips, organizing itineraries and such, but for real, go get the car, driver.

Once, Than was having an issue with him over Virus Tour tickets or some shit and he went apeshit, it was awesome. Than was a calm, collected dude. Never seen him blow up like that there or at my time at Rockstar. Wasn't just me who had massive issues with the guy.

You seemed to care about him quite a bit in this fight you two had, Mr. Negative Energy.

I said it earlier in the thread but Grillo was an unpaid Stern intern for like 6 years and his biggest task besides getting ridiculed on air was getting Howard a baked potato every morning. I really don’t understand how that’s breakfast either…

Kenny is immensely hateable but he was 1000% right in the way he chewed Dovid out. Seems like no one else ever gave him that speech he needed to hear, nor did he learn his lesson from it.

Hi. I did a lot of that as an unpaid intern.

No fuming, I just didn't wanna hang out with Big A and the "Apple Store Guy" and his friends all the time. It became constant show people and I wasn't really about it. Then one day Kurt Love is there with Bobo's sister and you're like, you know what? I don't think I need to be over here anymore. Who made a fuss out of what now? What are you talking about.
Did Anthony ever talk to the poker chips with the faces on them like they were Opie?

I listened to this shit earlier and it really shows how dumb the breakfast ordering process was. BABY BOY Jim Norton needing egg whites, three grown ass men paying three different ways. Danny, Travis and Than all working for free.

These motherfuckers were worth millions and had a business together. Why wasn’t there just a company card used to buy the talent and the guests food in the morning? Leave it to a jew like Kenny to need to become a financial middleman in breakfast transactions.
