I quit drinking and smoking a year ago. I've never been so active and driven.

I had what @TheGhostOfAbeVigoda describes - binge drinker 1-3 times a week. I do miss it, but I know that five years from now if I don't drink my life will be much better.

Drinking is one of those things that I "consider the devil" and I really dislike drunks.

I have robbed several passed out drunks in my life and I don't feel bad for any of it. In fact, I feel as if they should be grateful because they can say they possibly learned a lesson from it. I also could have been a true psychopath and assault them as they're passed out because they would not be able to do a thing about it.

The latest one I robbed was a couple years ago. I took all of his money (only like $80) and threw his wallet and phone into the canal he was next to. Imagine if I was deranged and decided to throw HIM into the canal?

I can remember. I didn't start boozing like a retard until my one ex left me like 10 years ago. Then people keep dying and shit. There's always an excuse to drink. I've also gotten to the point where I've basically tricked myself into not enjoying certain things unless I'm drinking while doing it. Video games, shooting, my fucking job lol, etc. I know it's all in my head and I still do it because I'm a weak willed pussy.

Artie's karma hit rock bottom after that. The sleeping drunk was actually a grieving husband and father whose wife and kid were killed in a car wreck a few days earlier. The poor man, out of his mind with grief, drank himself paralytic and passed out before he could get home. He awoke the next day to find his wallet (the one his wife got him for Christmas), that contained his favourite picture of his child, missing. But that's OK because he's lucky Artie isn't a psycho who killed him!
