It’s gotten some buzz, but it’ll fizzle out like Boardwalk Empire. After a while, no one will care. This show is just an excuse for Martin not to finish his original story, since he doesn’t know how. He’s probably just stalling until he can retire for “health issues.”

It'll be interesting to see if it can maintain an audience. It's a bit like a daytime soap opera with swords and dragons. The original GoT had its flaws but it did balance drama, politics and action well in the first few seasons.
