I gotta say that patposting and shitting on his poor/drunkard lifestyle the last 5 years has helped me quit a couple vices and excersize regularly. It also helps that my job is pretty physical so Im getting a ton of extra excersize while on the clock. Every time a current photo of him pops up it makes me glad I made those changes early during lockdowns because the path I was on I would have ended up looking like him by now.

Anyone else make lifestyle changes because of pat?
His wackiness makes me more relieved I have zero social media presence (nor addiction of same).

I got sober before I went all in on rickles but this hobby has certainly helped keep me on the wagon. He really makes drinking seem anything but fun.
I ditched smoking cold turkey, stopped daily drinking, and quit buying fast food 5 years ago after seeing how pat lives. Patposting has saved me a ton of money and possible health issues. Thanks Pat!

I think he sees himself as Kingpin from the comics, who had the appearance of a fat guy but was a muscular powerhouse in reality. View attachment 221204
Rick straight up said in one of those fucking mom in the ass tweets he doesn’t read comics, chalk that up to him being a fake geek. That faggot is such a fucking fraud.

I'm trying to quit drinking.
I had to limit my drinking before I could quit smoking. They went hand in hand. I started by just drinking on the weekends. It also helped that I changed jobs. I was drinking at least 4-6 beers after work everyday and going harder on the weekends. That job stressed me out and there was no way I was going to quit my vices while working there. Lockdowns ended that job for me and I was able to make those changes without the outside stress.

My issue with drinking is anything social I do is with a group and we all get wrecked. Just got off vacation, 3 days camping and 7 days at the cottage literally drinking from sunup to sundown. I'm at the point now where it's enough but wtf am I gonna do now? I hate drunk people when I'm sober.

Not saying it’s the only way but to stop drinking I had to stop hanging out with people whose socializing relied on drinking. I am much happier/healthier now if that’s any help.

I agree that it sucks being around drunks when sober. I understand going hard on trip like that. Thats just going to happen. I wouldnt beat yourself up too much for that. It was being in a drunken haze daily that I wanted out of. Drinking til I passed out and waking up slow as shit for the first few hours ( I dont drink coffee/energy drinks) was what I was tired of. I feel I can pretty much tell what pats daily drinking life is like because I was living like that for years. It takes the "fun" out of drinking when you are doing so often. At this point drinking has gotten boring for me but there are times I will still dabble.

That's good advice brotherman. Winter is gonna make things easier and I don't really drink through the week or at home, so maybe I'll just duck out of a few group plans here or there and try to take it easy when I go out.

Thanks to Pat I learned it best to post very little on social media and too much of it can really do serious damage to your health. When I don’t have the energy to work out I tell myself “you don’t want to end up like Pat”
When I get home and my arms, back, legs, feet are sore and I finally plop down. I get satisfaction knowing that Pat didnt do anything near the amount of excersize in an entire week that I did in one day and I do that 5-6 times a week for 9 hours. Seeing that photo of him being a loner fat shit at a tiki bar. Day drinking mai thais in the middle of a thursday while I was grinding was rewarding at the end of the day.

Look at it this way, you had a good run, time to try something else. I stopped drinking by telling myself I could always go back to it later on. I’ll still go out and get drunk when everything is set up for a good bender, but getting the family out for 2 or 3 days at a time only happens once every 9 months or so. I also don’t want to give the kids too many drunk dad stories. I did have a good run though.

The Chad with the sunglasses was probably deciding whether he should confront the fat weirdo or not.
Fat was thinking “I look just like that guy, probably a little better.”

I didnt want to waste all that extra free time during lockdowns getting fat or binge drinking. Seems like a lot of people slid down that path and I wanted to at least have something positive to come out of it. My old manager died during lockdowns because he drank so much ( got shakes without it) and now had all this free time and huge unemployment checks to buy Jack Daniels by the gallon. Drank himself to death.
