Yellow potatoes are better than russets for anything but fries. Sweet potatoes chopped up with chipotle powder, garlic powder, and salt, then oven roasted in 400 for like 30 minutes are pfg. I will not eat them any other way.

Asparagus is okay, but people cook them to death.

Buttercrunch lettuce and arugula are great as a salad. All salads should be chopped. I hate eating giant piles of leaves. A good chopped salad with a bunch of herbs and olive oil and salt is fantastic.

Green peas suck a majority of the time. Sweet pea pods eaten straight off the vine is far superior. You can put them in a stir fry and they taste good too. Black eyed peas are the best, but that's my good Southern upbringing talking.

Broccoli rules. Cauliflower is okay, but I need to cook with it more to really get a feel for it. Brussel sprouts are wonderful sauteed in bacon fat. Mustard greens and collards are also good sauteed, not boiled to death, also in pork fat.

Radishes are good.

Carrots are good too, but I only like them raw. Cooked carrots are gross to me.
Disagree. Russet makes a way better baked potato

I might have to try the sweet potato thing. That sounds like it could make them not disgusting to me.

I only ever really had my mom make them and she's a terrible cook for the most part and is such a fucking jew with the seasoning it's unreal. She also just prefers bland food. She still eats sweet potatoes with nothing on them and chicken without even a pinch of salt or pepper.

Caramelized onions are like candy. So fawwwkin' good. Might have to make some French Onion soup.

Any of you like cowboy candy? Candied jalapeños? I mix a bunch in with cottage cheese and that's like a perfect lil snack for me. People think it's weird as fuck and refuse to try it but it's good.

I'm allergic to apples, carrots, pears and shit like that. I can eat it if it's cooked but not raw. I once had a teacher that told me you can't be allergic to those things so she made me eat them. She only let me stop when a classmate saw me and asked why I was eating stuff I'm allergic to. I think I was 8 or somewhere around there.

They make my mouth, gums and throat itchy if they're raw, which is the only way I eat them. A bunch of stuff does, just not to the point that it fucks me up, so I probably have the same allergy but milder.
