I mean first off, it's radio in 2025. Second, it's fucking AM radio. I mean, I get it, FM radio is dead and Sirius wouldn't touch him for sure. Even back then we were all looking around the room at each other like... "Is this fucking guy serious?" So he finally gets his wish, and it's nothing but flop after flop after flop. Streaming for a dozen people at 6am to rake in $20. I wonder if that's what he had in mind when he said he could do "something else". If he's having fun with it, great I guess, but if I were him, I would have shut down shop oh so long ago and simply enjoy my life. Beautiful wife and a couple kids, house on the beach. Shut the fuck up, enjoy your cash, and stop broadcasting your fall from grace for all to see.

Sir the Opie Radio show was not a flop. He had comedy greats like Sherrod Small, Vic Henley (RIP) the mad Cuban (RIP) on da show on a regular basis, plus big starrrs like Pete Davidson and...others. the only reason it got cancelled was because the Opester took a picture of that fat faggot Roland shitting. Hard to recover from that

If you want to know how well a show is doing, take a look at their sponsors. Is it dick cream and cheat on your wife websites? Or is it Budweiser and Apple. Is Universal buying a live read for a new movie? Or you shilling tacky, laminated roses.

You can't be paid multiple millions of dollars a year when your biggest advertiser is a local fucking jewelry store. This isn't national chain money. It's one fucking store in Philly.

His millions, whatever he was paying co-hosts, a full time staff...like, where is this money coming from? Nobody is subbing to SXM to listen to The Opie & Hot Carl show, or whatever his fucking name was. And that's exactly why Jim is no longer there. He expects to be paid his O&A money for hosting a show with a regressed intern. He's another one who should be saying nothing but amazing things about Sirius for paying him as much as they did for as long as they did. The fact that Jim & Sam lasted longer that 2 years is honestly shocking to me. There's just no way that math adds up at all.
