But I really DO need five streaming services, guys!I live very close to Avon, maybe 30-45 minutes away, and I can say with absolute certainty that if you can't live on $40,000 a year here then you're a fucking idiot.
"I can't pay off my credit card this month!" Why does a childless, 23 year old ho need to pay off a credit card anyways???
A lot of it is to blame on social media - these people are glued to Instagram / tik tok / etc and just mindless scroll for hours at people living these supposed amazing lives through filters and think they need to do that to - fear of missing out as they say. I think the phrase was 30 thousand-aire where you got these types driving cars, buying clothes, taking vacations, etc all things they can’t afford but run up credit cards and go into serious debt just to show off to strangers on the internet. A lot of it is people aren’t being taught the difference between wants and needs and how to properly budget.I live very close to Avon, maybe 30-45 minutes away, and I can say with absolute certainty that if you can't live on $40,000 a year here then you're a fucking idiot.

My 3rd grade teacher was such an abysmal cunt I’d legit stab her if I met her now.Why get into the profession when you're aware that the pay isn't great then complain when you're not getting paid enough?
I've heard about teachers having bad salaries going back far as when I was in 3rd grade.
Sure they get summers off, weekends off, vacations, benefits, and one of the most powerful unions in the country.
But I guess when you don't have enough time to take selfies for attention on Instagram it can become a burden.
I suppose I just don't feel bad for this cunt.
Teacher breaks down her meager paycheck in terrifying detail
Lexie Firment, 23, a science teacher in Avon, Ohio, nearly had a 'panic attack' in contemplating her monthly expenses versus take-home pay in a new TikTok.www.dailymail.co.uk
Ugh, I once was talking to this girl I met on a dating app and she came over my place once and gave me shit because I didn’t have all the streaming apps because I don’t need to pay for shit I barely watch. Mind you I own my place and live comfortably (not rich but not pay check to pay check) while she worked some shit job while living at home. Two years later I saw her again on the dating app and she now was a single mom but still using photos from years ago.But I really DO need five streaming services, guys!
Gotta be the only profession that complains about having to purchase the tools they need to get the job done. Meanwhile anyone smart buys the best tools for the job that’ll make their life easier."We have to buy our own materials!"
As was intimated earlier, I don't think they're actually buying necessary tools. The media always goes all in with that narrative, but I'd really like to see where teachers are buying books and chalkboards and shit. It's more like optional things they want for their classroomGotta be the only profession that complains about having to purchase the tools they need to get the job done. Also to complain about that is the same as complaining to have to buy professional clothes for work. Can’t they write buying those materials on their taxes? I knew a couple guys who found all kinds of ways to write things off - even dry cleaning costs because it was needed to clean his clothes for work - which he defined as his uniform for work. Yes, he was Jewish. I think ABBA pulled something like this, that’s why they always wore those stage outfits - even when not on stage - because it was for tax write offs.Gotta be the only profession that complains about having to purchase the tools they need to get the job done. I buy duplicates of firearms I use at work and claim them and all ammo for them on taxes as training. Also to complain about that is the same as complaining to have to buy professional clothes for work. Plus they get to stay home when it snows too.I actually heard the below from a teacher...
Teacher: so we get a couple months off for summer, so what?! We have to come in a WEEK earlier than the kids
Nice comparing your working schedule to a 7 year old's schedule, stupid.
Plus they get winter break.and spring break too
I personally think they should have to come in on snow days and help shovel.Plus they get to stay home when it snows too.
"But we have to stay late for conferences!!" Yeah- like twice a year, you fucks
I remember when the Ukraine situation started they had all these pieces on the news of “how to explain the situation to your kids” and they meant like teenager which I thought was odd. Then I saw reports of how High Schools were “handling this” (what? There’s always been wars going on in other countries, why is this so important for kids?) and these teachers were pretty much having kids watch CNN in class instead of actually teaching and I thought holy shit were in trouble if that’s what’s going on in schools. High Schools seem to have become just day care for teenagers. I was in high school when 9/11 happened and the schools didn’t do shit about “how do we handle this?” With weeks of classes and even special support groups dealing with it.All I know is if a kid is determined to learn something that they are REALLY interested in, they have plenty of resources from experts from all over the internet.
