I really enjoy his complete inability to ever fess up and say "I fucked up". He just can't do it, and neither can she, which must make for a fun domestic dynamic. Everyone has a story about missing a flight, fucking up a reservation, or whatever, where they chuckle when recalling that stupid thing they did that time. But not Nana. It's always someone else's fault.

I consider myself a seasoned traveler anyhow I was flying to Dallas years ago and my cousin and then GF were at the gate with me. This is pre 911 so they could sit with me. We started chatting and I stopped paying attention and I missed the plane...TWICE! I still recall the story with fondness and my siblings make fun of me for it and we laugh it off.

What a stupid fucking loser. I almost exclusively fly Southwest because they never screw you over on cancellations or anything. I've missed a Southwest flight for my own fault, and they just put you on the next plane. Cancel the same day as the flight? Full credit back to your account. Southwest's whole angle is superior customer service. What a stupid fuck.

Nana talked about the situation on the show yesterday. All lies and he didn't take any responsibility. Of course he was at the bar waiting. A band was playing. Nana said that he didn't hear an announcement but the music was loud. Doesn't boarding usually start 45 mins to hour before the scheduled take off? How about you go wait by the gate. He blamed the airport for not having screens at the gate that say the location. I am sure that is another lie. He walked up to the gate and the woman told him the gate was changed to D1 or something. Nana said that it was a 10 minute walk. Bull shit. I looked up a map of the terminal in Nashville. When he got to the correct gate, the door was shut. Nana isn't a %!@@&# so he didn't start complaining to try and get on the flight.

Well I'm shocked to learn the story boils down to Ant was getting shitfaced at the bar and didn't pay attention and missed his flight.

He was playing the game of waiting until last minute and ordering one more drink than makes sense and giving himself zero buffer time. Then he missed his flight instead of just boarding and ordering a beer 20 mins later.

Still odd that Missy didn't figure out the gate change, though. They're quite the power couple.

exactly. I fly once a week and I have my gate arrival down to a science so I spend as little time at the airport as possible. Literally walking up to security less than 45 mins before takeoff. Even then I have enough time to arrive at the gate, see the flight has changed, and waltz to the right one to board the correct flight without breaking a sweat.

Anthony was late to the airport because he got into an argument with Missy while they were getting ready. Or he overslept because he's a drunk. But it wasn't Southwest's fault, shitty though they may be. And the rest of the passengers adapted to the gate change just fine, you fucking moon cricket.
