Right. I stopped paying attention to Anthony basically after he was fired. I was never around for the arrest or the O&A subreddit so I barely remember any of this stuff. Anthony the night of the arrest took Dani's phone, after she called 911 unbeknownst to Anthony, and smashed the screen in and then smashed his landline phone to prevent her from calling the cops but it was already too late. Then he beat his girlfriend and strangled her purely out of rage not knowing that cops would see the bruises. But at that point police were already on their way. When police got there they literally just left like nothing was wrong because they were incompetent. Though maybe they knew Anthony or Keith.
I remember reading that one time Anthony had hit Dani during another fight, possibly a year before the big arrest night, and had broken one of her hands. And a police officer happened to come by that day to drop something off for Anthony. Maybe PBA cards or information on concealed carry or whatever. And Dani tried to get the officer's attention but he just waved at her and left. Someone told one of the NY newspapers that Anthony had hit Dani before and been in huge fights in public with her. She told police that he had now broken two of her hands on separate occasions. So apparently Anthony had a history of hitting this poor girl. Which would align with his father's beatings Rosalie and Brother Joe's alleged domestic violence where he said his girlfriend hit herself with a frying pan instead of him hitting her which doesn't really seem credible anymore with his lies over his DD214.
She alleged that he had hit her before. But this time she feared for her life. Hence calling 911 and trying to record him the entire time. This is always ignored by his friends from Compound including the various young women he is always hanging around with or associating. That house party or karaoke party he went to with those young girls where they must all be oblivious to the fact that Anthony beat his girlfriend so badly she had multiple fractures. Those girls must have no idea what kind of person Anthony really is. Human garbage.
This is what so many people even here gloss over or forget. Why would someone like Bill Burr or Opie possibly want to associate with Anthony anymore? Or someone like Bobby or Vos? Anthony basically almost killed his girlfriend. He beat and strangled her and was looking for his gun. To do what with the gun exactly? He once shot his computer in anger remember. I bet that the thought seriously crossed his mind over whether or not he could get away with straight up murdering his girlfriend. Pretty sick.
