I cant tell if Goodell is just really good at running the league like a business, or if he simply benefited from the fantasy era as well as baseballs decline. But god damn I dont think its ever been more popular.
The product is horrendous and I hate it now, but they captured the normie audience and retained a majority of the diehards.
I dont care what anyone says. Football will not die in my lifetime. As long as you put 22 guys on a field with NFL uniforms on, hundreds of millions of people will watch no matter what they do to the rules.

Goodell strikes me as a barely functioning retard. The NFL thrives in spite of him.

Football will continue to succeed no matter how much they continue to pussify it. Baseball hasn’t legitimately been popular since my grandpa’s generation and they hate the game because of steroids. Hockey is where it’s at.

Listen, I despise Goodell as much as the next guy, but you cant be the head of an organization as succesful as the NFL for over 15 years without doing SOMETHING right, from a pure business standpoint.
