Not saying he doesn’t deserve some blame but I don’t see why he gets it but someone like Paul Heyman doesn’t
Paul Heyman was like 25 when he was running ECW. He has not matured to the point of having the balls as a leader to punish anyone for drugs. In fact the wrestlers who ever went to ECW even for 1 night routinely say that it was the most fun they ever had in their life.
The unlawful atmosphere was legitimate. Like THE D said in another post, People who perform late at night in front of thousands of people then 30 mins later they're alone in a little room... Half of these dudes were drunk before they even got to the ring. Heyman did in fact encourage wrstlers to do coke to pep themselves up from whatever pills they were on. He would send wrestlers to New Jack who was everyones coke dealer. They all shared drugs and needles and the whole nine.
