Mr. Tomlinson has just threatened Leslie Varney, a female publisher whom he has been attacking on Twitter from behind a block for more than a year, to be sued into poverty with a lawsuit that will presumably be funded by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
- Mr. Tomlinson's 2021 lawsuit was funded in secret by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, a 501(c)(3) charity, to the tune of $100,000 without the knowledge or consent of their donors or members. They also agreed to pay any sanctions in case he lost (which he did).
- All parties involved signed NDAs so that the general public would never know.
- To this day, SFWA has never acknowledged its funding of the lawsuit, and actively instructs the few people in the know to ignore all inquiries into it.
- Is the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America funding Mr. Tomlinson's lawsuit against the Milwaukee Police? If they are, the general public probably wouldn't know due to their history of funding expensive lawsuits in secret.
- You can use IRS form 3949-A to report SFWA's activity if you reasonably believe that it is illegal for a 501(c)(3) charity to secretly fund frivolous nuisance lawsuits for one of its members.

- Mr. Tomlinson's feud started after members of the now-defunct Reddit site r/opieandanthony got his Twitter account suspended, causing him to threaten some bored trolls who never heard of him with a libel lawsuit. The trolls responded predictably.
- Mr. Tomlinson has been instructed many times by friends, family, police, and attorneys to stop engaging with his trolls, and that continuing to provoke them will cause him to be trolled even more. Mr. Tomlinson wilfully ignores this advice
- He would eventually file a defamation suit against 60 anonymous people which was dismissed with Mr. Tomlinson being ordered to pay $34,762.25 for opposing parties' attorney fees.
- He ended up paying $83,736.99 due to his unsuccessful attempts to dodge the court-ordered judgement, for which he faced jail time and contempt charges.
- He also filed 2 frivolous restraining orders against people who had engaged in First Amendment-protected behavior (one for texting him and another for attending his contempt of court hearing), both of which were dismissed.
- Early on in the lawsuit, Mr. Tomlinson vandalized his own motorcycle and submitted a false police report blaming the people he was suing.
- He accidentally sent surveillance video of the alleged vandal (himself) to a troll.
- Mr. Tomlinson has never shown this video footage during any of his media tours, and desperately tries to scrub it from the internet.
- Mr. Tomlinson claims that the surveillance video was initiated by his "motion-activated" camera, which only collects "30 seconds at a time", despite the video being 32 seconds long and beginning several seconds before the "vandal" enters into the frame.
- On 13 April 2023, the individual responsible for calling the fake emergences (SWATs) to Mr. Tomlinson's house, a SWAT-for-hire dealer named "Torswats", revealed that Mr. Tomlinson ordered the SWATs to his own house because he wanted to get in the news and sue the MPD for money.
- Torswats would repeat these allegations in private chats which were not intended for public view.
- Mr. Tomlinson has gone on multiple news tours since the SWATtings started in order to promote his victimhood brand, utilizing the services of Lenora Claire.
- He also recently sued the MPD for money.

Very gay, overly positive, British, etc, but somehow it's great for learning guitar.I've used that site and it's pretty good but I've been using this faggots lessons to learn the basics and as gay as he looks he really breaks it down well and I've been flying through the lessons. I can actually feel myself improving which is PFG.

I had prior music skill from taking piano when I was young and dicking around on a bass guitar when I was in high school so maybe that's why I'm learning fast so far. I also picked up Rocksmith not as a tool to learn the guitar but with all the custom songs people have made for it to make tabs a lot more enjoyable. I'm not skilled enough to really play it yet but it looks alright so far definitely wouldn't buy it without the custom songs though. I just know 8 basic chords so far but can name any single note on the fretboard I play after about a week of playing so far.
It's crazy that it's all free. I checked out the app and it seems worse than just using the site. I know he charges for music theory and from the lessons I went through on that I can see it being helpful. His positivity doesn't bother me at all and I hate everything so he is doing something right.

I took a couple months of lessons and then lost interest. I didn't even want to play the bass but we already had two guitarists and a drummer and I wanted to fit in *sniff*. I would probably enjoy it more today though.
I don't remember having that big of an issue with sight reading. My piano teacher as a kid was pretty great.

Les is very respected in the field. I couldn't play like him, and I'm quite proud of my skills.
I know I'll sound like a kiss ass saying it, but Steve Hackett is a hell of a player too. Check him out if you haven't, there's a reason the Genesis albums he played guitar on sound so good.

I started playing at 14, never took any lessons and ended up working as a session guitarist during college and was offered a deal at one point with a band I had that I turned down. I mostly learned by ear and figuring out how to play songs that I wanted to play. I also played for hours every day until my fingers would actually bleed sometimes but that's optional. I don't think age is as important as having a reason you want to play and pursuing that. One you start making some headway it becomes part of you. I don't earn money with it anymore but, as busy as I am, I still try to play at least a little bit every single day even if it's just picking one up for 10 minutes while I'm doing something else.

If bending your finger that way doesn't come naturally it's tough to get that f# on the high e to ring out
