Some faggots from the streamer publications are coming out now saying Doc was banned from Twitch in 2020 for sexting an underage girl. This went viral last night out of nowhere. Doc ended his livestream and immediately tweeted that it wasn't true, but the wording of his text was all in legalise (as is to be expected given the obvious NDA he signed when they paid him out after dropping him) and it just made everyone believe the accusations were true.

Doc has to be pushing 45 now and his wife is a complete smoke show. I understand he's cheated on her before, but there's nothing to suggest he's a groomer or Chris Delia type.

What confuses me is this: let's say he WAS investigated by Twitch four years ago for texting someone underage and the fallout from that led to Twitch firing him, paying out his contract, and enforcing an NDA. Okay fine. But now, four years later, if some random streaming faggot journo decides to spill the beans, how is that NDA preventing Doc from defending himself in a public forum? Like why can't Doc just say, "That never happened, they're lying?"

If you ask me, this makes sense and explains why he was banned in 2020 for something that happened in 2017.

However you are right that Twitch no doubt wanted to get rid of him quietly. Whether they had a good case or not in the contract termination dispute, their own star streamer going full pedo on their own platform is not good publicity. Whatever they paid him, if they paid him, was no doubt worth it at the time. The details of the contract or the settlement are not public knowledge.

It’s probably true the same way instagram / facebook says “No users under 13 ! Teehee!” . But theres literally no safeguards stopping someone younger than that from signing up.

I also don’t get the “They paid him out!” argument. I can guarantee Twitch didn’t have some morality clause built in to the contract. They dropped him for morally objectionable / illegal activities. He had his lawyers look over the contract who said “Even if you did this theres no grounds to cancel this”. So he sued and won.
