My liver enzymes were "severely elevated" to quote my doctor six months of no alcohol (anyone can do it!) and they're back to normal 15 shots of vodka a day is a bit much for the ol liver to process.
As for Cancer my uncle just got diagnosed with metastatic melanoma he's going in for the gamma knife radiation soon with all the new immunotherapies and targeted options along with radiation and chemo it's possible to survive longer and sometimes get functionally cured.

Looks like it’s colon cancer that spread to liver so drinking probably had nothing to do with it.

Fawkin brutal dude. I just had a tumor removed that turned out to be benign, so I got lucky there. Cancer is a real bitch, if you're gonna do the chemo thing at least you'll get good drugs.

I had a lump on my chest/neck that I was convinced was lymphoma. It turned out be joint arthritis and a non-issue but I know how you guys feel
