Immigration benefits us more than it hurts, the only people who complain about it are the whiners who want hand outs. The system is the way it is because we are fighting against ourselves. I would say anyone who can prove they have a legal job here should get an automatic green card and start paying taxes and SS

I walked around my home town last year and I couldn’t hear anybody speaking English. It was so nice before, now it’s full of crime, weird markets and is just not a good place to be.

I got away from it all by getting an okay career, but it’s only a matter of time before the white middle class areas are ruined too. It’s just sad.

Why can other countries protect their heritage, their borders and their culture but we can’t? Why do people want to flee their shitty non white countries and then act exactly like they did back there which ruined their homeland? I’m honestly asking.

Up until Ted Kennedy needed a piece of showcase legislation in the mid 60s, immigration to the US for the previous 2 generations had settled into a system that sought to limit new immigrants to groups that could more easily integrate themselves into our society. Because we weren't in a period of massive settlement or industrialization our leaders sought to limit foreigners with no skills or who would compete with our poor citizens.
