That could be why they can't find people to show up for work, I've never dealt with any companies like that. I just finished a job in fort pierce where I forced the owner to show me the pay stubs, I9s and IDs of his crew because looking at them I would swear they were all 14 years old. I assume he just hired kids right out of high school, all of the older guys on the crew had new trucks and were at the site every morning waiting when I opened the gates. I wouldn't do it, but you could call INS any time and screw over any company hiring illegals or paying cash but even then, who is the problem? Most of the companies I deal with in Florida are NY or Chicago companies who have an office down there so I don't know many of the redneck companies.

My family is the same way down there. A few of my uncles own businesses and they are fucking skinflints with their employees. They've all offered me jobs over the years and I've essentially laughed in their faces for what they wanted to pay me - their own flesh and blood - for wages. Florida boomers are greedy as fuck. I moved to New Hampshire and am making almost twice what companies were willing to pay me down in FLA. Florida is a hustlers market. Everyone is trying to Jew over the next guy. The thing that sucks is that boomers have done such a good job of gate keeping economics that it's ridiculously hard for anyone under 40 to gain a foothold down there to start their own hustle.

You're full of shit, the salaries are the same for anyone and with amazon they are sometimes double what normal jobs pay in florida, they pay NY salaries wherever they go. In my case I hire subs so I don't set any salaries, I get prices from the people I hire and then I pay them what they ask for. It is like you are desperate to excuse yourself from problems you created. I never once mentioned "working harder" I mentioned "showing up and doing your job" it really is that simple in most cases. Nobody will say "This guy does a good job, too bad he's white" that is really the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

As for the refugees and immigrants, people in NYC, NJ and CT love them. they are welcome here, most are pushing to get them expedited green cards so they can get regular jobs and start paying taxes, you seem to regurgitate right wing nonsense whether it applies to the conversation or not. One thing about NH is that people who move there tend to have skills and resources, so you are dealing with people who support others without them. I've had loser friends move to NH and get full college degrees with housing from the state in exchange for working for the state (not sure if it was required but it was where they went to work)

Almost every NYer I knew who moved to florida before age 30, no matter what their degrees or background turned out completely fucked up. Most had a few good years and bought boats and bentleys, but it was never sustainable and they turned into degenerates after 15 years. The ones who didn't moved out of florida as soon as they had some cash. The only ones I know who did okay and stayed were lawyers, for some reason Florida has an endless supply of money for lawyers
