It is weird. I have zero hate for her and think she's a cutie. Not being fat helps.
He hasn't posted on Pat's KF thread in a while, but I remember that Boston Brand guy was an SFWA insider and he said they were fawkin terrified of people finding out they wasted over $100k of membership dues on Pat because he was a member of the woke-ness before talent sjw clique that's taken over the organization.Having now read the quash in full I'm convinced more than ever they funded the lawsuit. They call it "overbroad" but the request is for information relating to loans, loan agreements and financial arrangements, and only for the dates in question. Cloudflare gave up information without even hesitating, but they're going to spend $6,000 trying to quash this?

Aw, ghosted, faggot.
American ExpressSo what does it mean if this gets quashed? Someone still has to be on the hook for legal fees right?

any legal precedent for this? plenty of NGOs, unions, lobby groups fund all kinds of lawsuits all the time, some of whcih fail. Some litigants even crowdfund, if thousands donate does that mean thousands are on the hook for potential future costs? No way. The mere act of giving money to someone for a lolsuit can't have such a massive string attached automatically.
Frankly even the contract hypothesis seems weird, if Pat has a contract with SFWA that's private between them. Unless Pat showed it to Jen to prove the funds are there, no need to take Susan, as part of a negotiation?
ok now we know for sure that pat's pin number is 1068. we're getting somewhere. So, I think this is the good bit, it's what Quasi's debt recovery lawyer has requested from the SFWA:

Points 6 and 7 are aimed at the $100k loan (because it's supposed to be a loan) that Pat got to fund his case; points 1 and 10 are about establishing his income as a writer.
To me, that all seems reasonable - if the SFWA have loaned him a one-off $100k, the last thing Pat would want is the court to assume that's part of his usual annual income, and set a payment schedule based on that.
They pay for this shit, it's literally a scam but they need it to advertise themselves. It seems if you're a shit lawyer you brag about worthless fake titles.
