Why does she have to kick Joe while he’s down?

For Joe, two gigs over the course of a weekend is a hectic schedule that entitles him to some serious R&R after. I seriously doubt they're paying him to do a 90 minute set once a night. He'll be required to play for hours on end. And when he's finished, he'll be sore, tired and hungry, and he won't have plates of his favorite slop to wolf down, or any medium shelf booze to wash it down with. Day after day, playing those same annoying songs, for an increasingly disinterested audience.

At first, he'll be posting lots of pics of his baskets of fresh mangoes, fluffy towels, and beautiful sunsets. Then, after maybe a week, the complaints will begin. He's being treated like shit, he didn't sign up for this, the cruise line doesn't know how to treat "entertainers" and so forth. And, just like with every single thing he's done in his "music career", he will burn another bridge. By the end of the summer, he'll be busking in the park.

I'd like to see him just try to locate a bag-o-chips to help soothe his salt water laden throat.
