I'm surprised no one's mentioned a Muffuletta yet.

It's hard to find in my neck of the woods. At minimum, you need good ciabatta bread, olive salad, and some cold cuts.

Honorable mentions to anything spicy, like a buffalo chicken sandwich or a Nashville hot chicken sandwich.

It was mentioned. It didn’t get much of a response other than a mortadella endorsement.

Cold Veal sounds disgusting but a Meatball Parm cold sandwich ain't that much different than cold pizza. I'd eat half while I warmed up the other half in the toaster oven. Though if I ever got a meatball slice (why?) I'd never eat it cold so I guess I'm a hypocrite.

Veal is one of the only things I agree with vegans about.

A good BLT is hard to beat

Just came here to say this. Yeah there is way better and more sophisticated sandwiches but the humble BLT is the only sandwich that I eat 2+ of when I make em.
