Buddy of mine is paying $2,000 a month for the next decade minimum and makes 50k a year. lol. He graduated with his 4 year degree in 2009.

We chatted recently and he expressed how demoralizing it is for him and I tried several times to not laugh over the phone.

That's more than my monthly living and I own my place. This nigga explained to me how he'll never be able to buy so much as a studio condo in his lifetime.

I remember when I told some of my friends who were in college about me going to a trade school and I got made fun of for having to be stuck in attics on hot days etc.

I started my trade school when they were all in their 2nd year old college. I finished before, had my loan paid off, and owned my first car outright before any of them graduated. Bought my place before any of them actually moved out of their parents and some still rely on roommates to survive a month without being evicted.

College is trap for many people. Sometimes it's hilarious, sometimes it's just sad.
