Oh it kind of fucking ruled. It's shitty and cheesey on purpose. I think whoever made that achieved exactly what they wanted to.

I lived in Lumberton, NC for most of my adult life. It's not Deliverance. It's different. It's violent as fuck but also some of my favorite people. The accents are awful. The people are literally lowest of the low or great, honest, hard working southern folk. Literally had a black guy kidnap a pre-teen Mexican girl who was carrying her grandma's groceries in and of course he raped her and killed her because he was "drunk and bored". Had a serial killer as well that as far as I know has never been caught. A black dude and lumbee indian killed Michael Jordan's dad who had pulled over on i95 for a nap. If I won the lottery I would move back in a heart beat. Hate Virginia and miss my transparent to a fault weirdos. Even the dishonest people are easily readable.
