Well that's good to know that GA is now a lot safer than riding a motorcycle, in case I ever get back in a small plane.

In 2020, there were 5,014 motorcyclists killed in crashes in the United States, compared to 15,120 passenger vehicle occupants killed in crashes. This means that motorcyclists were 27 times more likely to be killed in a crash than passenger vehicle occupants."

Styrofoam. I HATE touching styrofoam, and that sound it makes when it rubs together makes my teeth hurt. I won't touch it without gloves, and whenever it enters my home I dispose of it immediately. Just thinking about it gives me the piss-shivers.

I have the same thing but with steel wool and similar materials. I feel like I would have a stroke if I had to rub it between my hands.

Not irrational anymore. The US is now the number one place in the world for shark attacks. It's in the news pretty much every week this summer. I've seen several recent videos of sharks skulking around right amongst all the swimmers near shore. Fuck them and jellyfish.
