Honest question. I suppose the obvious answer is "Opie and Anthony" fans -- but didn't most O&A fans listen for O&A?
I think everyone can reasonably agree that no new fans are listening. Imagine your uncle or friend getting a new car with Sirius, flipping through the channels, hearing Sam's voice and becoming hooked? You have to be gradually introduced to Sam, first with Jocktober.
Perhaps Chip Chipperson/stand-up fans? Maybe WWE fans at this point? It honestly perplexes me.
Name the demographic that wants occasional irrevent Tranny hooker talk from the early 2000s, mixed with middle-of-the-road commentary and wrasslin'/sneaker talk? Granted, I haven't listened in 5 years, so maybe they reinvented themselves.
All that being said, I'm sure both Cumpound Media and Opie would kill for the ratings they pull in weekly.
