Are you kidding? Anything that even resembles a gang, curse words, violence, guns, etc. Women have “strict” dress codes of no shoulders showing and skirt length minimums. School is literally no different now than when any of you went to school.

That’s a good question, I’m off the age when call phones were banned in high school and teachers would take them if they saw it in your hand. When I was younger it was beepers were banned because it was seen as “drug related”

It's not that I don't "get" these things because I do enjoy older music and media more than new shit, but here's what I can think of:

Acting in black and white movies from the 1950's and before. Did people really talk like that back then? Everyone sounds semi-English and highfalutin and proper. Very hammy and not as natural as acting would become later. (For the dramatic movies. Old comedy like the Three Stooges still holds up).

Corny 70's humor and sentimentality. I guess because they were coming out of the faggoty hippy cultural "revolution" (MAAAAN) and people had less shame about expressing themselves, but they must not have realized how gay and lame they came across. A lot of the social commentary, satire and comedy from that era aged pretty poorly.

The 80's hair metal look. I don't even hate the music (it is very cheesy) but why did you have to wear your sister's makeup to rock back then? Those guys looked even fruitier than the new wave homos and at least their music held up way better.

80's hair metal is my dad's preferred form of boomer faggot music nonsense (there are others). It's music I never had a taste for that I've grown to despise over the years.
As an aside for a number of years I could have put new wave as my favorite genre of music. What I'm trying to say is that faggotry runs in the family.
