Cushitic is fake and gae. Afar-saho, Oromo and Somali are completely unintelligible...but if you know Arabic you know 40% of Somali.

Oromo are recent migrants to the Horn of Africa, they came from Nubia/North Sudan after the Mamelukes conquered Egypt, that's why they don't have lightbulb heads and look more like those ppl than Somalis.

English is not a Germanic language either. It's an occult creole. Linguistics and most language classification is fake. English and Arabic have alot more in common with each other (in some warped, inverse relationship) than English does with say, Danish.
