When I snowboarded I used to know some insanely great skiers, a couple of them went pro. I guarantee you they would have a hard time going backwards on one ski down a double black diamond. Eh, it depends. ADHD lends itself to hyperfocus — except you can’t control where you direct that hyperfocus. Instead of using it to do your homework, you’ll sit down to play one game of Tetris or watch one episode of Homeland and still be sitting on your fat ass in the same spot when the sun comes up.
That said, I’d bet Pat isn’t ADHD. Instead, he probably is bipolar and swings from completely sedentary, brooding, angry orientation to subdued, angry mania.
On top of that I’d guess histrionic personality disorder and/or borderline personality disorder.
But what the fuck do we know? You can call it Tomlinson Syndrome and it would amount to the same thing: a fat piece of shit who Is in hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt and spends every waking minute thinking about the strangers who point and laugh at him.
