This is where you and I agree. To give some background, my industry is heavily affected by this. All of these people voted for Trump. I’m probably the only one who didn’t. The Chinee use slave labor to artificially lower prices then buy companies that are failing as a result. The only way is to force tariffs on every fucking country. I mean, we could just shut down trade with China but then your precious stocks would plummet and the entire world would re-enter the dark ages. America backed itself in a bad corner. Boq is right about this shit. Our only way out, is a very harsh decision, that will negatively impact us for our fucking greed. Let’s take it like fucking men, so our children have a future. Sorry Boqster, I didn’t realize I didn’t answer your question properly there. Yeah, that’s a severe possibility. What we’re doing now hasn’t worked. The hope is, is that these people will be held more accountable, and hopefully we’ll have a stronger national culture to fight them. 4-8 years is a retarded amount of time to give for properly fixing a nation, though. Your best bet is a new technology emerges and renders the whole discussion moot. Obviously nobody knows when that will happen. Beyond that, it’s either violent revolution or a very slow, generational process of trying to promote an anti-consumer list culture; trying to stop the equation of pleasure/happiness with spending money. Not opposed to your last point entirely, I just don’t believe in government. To say there’s no plan is very unfair. These people aren’t the best nor the brightest, but they’re not stupid. It’s like saying Nancy Pelosi is stupid because she’s drunk and retarded on TV. The fact is, she has held a prominent position of power for many years. Many positions.
