Oh come on. You think you could write a better story about maturing with your emotions fucking with you?
I never claimed I could. I just feel like the praise that the opening for Up got made Pixar try to recreate it in every thing they do. And while that felt organic, the emotional moments in their later films all feel forced. Like they've built the movies around these moments.

You're absolutely wrong. Sorry. But it's totally organic. Its a feeling as much as it is a movie.

The adult version would be Falling Down. Where it's purely about a flawed person's emotions.

It was when the imaginary friend (representing the innocence of childhood) died wasn’t it?

I would argue that is not an appropriate movie to show 3-4 year olds. Nice job being a terrible teacher.
As you know Asians have different age reckoning than Westerners. My students were 7 Korean age. And they were horrified by the clown scene. I had to yell at them to not be pussies.

To our American Friends. Koreans are born 1 year old and all change age in February.

According to coworkers she scratched at them but in my class the worst thing she did was walk on the table. Me and her actually bonded after a while. We were both considered freaks so we could relate.

I should like this guy, he's Scottish and says shit I agree with but I he leans into the anti-woke gimmick way too hard. I can totally believe he cries at movies.
