The first three books are stone cold classics. If he had a stroke after the third one everyone would say it was one of the greatest unfinished stories of all time.

There are character arcs - particularly Jaime’s - that still make my hair stand up.

This fat faggot clearly only cared about the story and planned it out to that point. Then he decided to get lost in his own world building and now it will be impossible to finish.

I don’t like him because he’s fat. Tolkien and CS Lewis aren’t fat.

I know that appears shallow but I could explain very carefully why it’s not.

I’m not surprised his writing is what a fat man would do, just greedily promise all these interesting intertwined stories and have no intention of resolving them.

Excellent point. If this gluttonous wizard-looking faggot doesn't have the self control to not be obese at 74 then it doesn't surprise me that he also doesn't have the discipline to write a decent ending to his series after 12 fucking years.

What is Gosia’s take?

You fucking nit.

She watched it a few times with her girlfriends, but she gave up by the Red Wedding, I think she said. She told her friends, and she emphasized that I quoted her here, "This is as overrated as True Blood."

I dunno lads, Fantasy has been the one genre that never really interested me. The Magic Sword, Sinbad, Jason and The Argonauts... I never watch them again. Passes through me like fiber.

But what did the American fan have to say?
