What people don’t realize is “disease is an addiction” or “it’s not a choice” isn’t some fucking excuse to relapse, or some determinism of “well you’ll always be this way no use in changing!” it’s basically saying you have this thing innately in you and you need to fucking control it, otherwise you’re gonna fuck your life up.
