DMCA, complaints, and other inquiries:
I hate to one-up @RobertMewler , especially during her menopause, heh, but yeah a lot of us over here who aren't Cumias have seen a ton of limey programming. Why, I go way back to the old Michael Wood 'In Search of the Dark Ages' series, James Burke, etc. Too many to name here. Hope you're impressed, moneybags. That's cool. It's just there are so many little jokes about English history etc it surprised me.
Haha, no I didn't mean it in a condescending way. It's just that Blackadder is so specifically English and taking the piss out of our history that I didn't think it would "translate" to other countries, America or anywhere else.I hate to one-up @RobertMewler , especially during her menopause, heh, but yeah a lot of us over here who aren't Cumias have seen a ton of limey programming. Both governments, despite their vast ideological differences, understood you only send a certain type of man into space. No darkies. No mongoloids.if you think that's fucked look up pics of Neil Armstrong and Yuri Gagarin and tell me it's not the same person playing two roles
Yeah, they're both white guys. Gagarin looks like a type of White Russian, i.e. Slavic. Armstrong looks like what he is. An American of German/British heritage (basically the same thing.)if you think that's fucked look up pics of Neil Armstrong and Yuri Gagarin and tell me it's not the same person playing two roles
Stephen Fry looks like if a foppish gay man had two huge testicles and took one of them, removed it, and put an ascot on it and told it to host a humorous quiz show. That's Stephen Merchant. Stephen Fry looks exactly like Jeremy Clarkson and Piers Morgan.
nah, clarkson's like o&a, attracts complete mongos but at the end of the day he was still hilariousClarkson is a complete faggot who sells his drivel to blue-collar "E's just loike one'ov us" dummies and white-collar "Cars and travel make me a person" shit eaters.
Fry is a pantomime boy toucher.
I've learned since yesterday & this is called a 'troll', I wont be responding (GAWD DAMMIT I JUS DID!!!!)
I should sort you out with some British martial arts:
Reminds me I need to watch Blackadder Christmas again. Also an amerifagThat's cool. It's just there are so many little jokes about English history etc it surprised me.

Sorry. Truly.Did I give off that stench? I'm American
no it's suffused through the (broad anglosphere online) culture enough that I've heard of it over and over. There's got to be something there. It's on the check out down the road shelfSorry. Truly.
Nah, it's funny and silly but it's probably not for everyone. You don't need to watch the seasons in order because there's not really any continuity. But it's not an anthology series. It's kind of unique in that way. It's basically about a chancer/bullshitter and his descendants throughout English history.
That's what threw me a bit when I saw that Americans on here (who I guess don't learn about Middle Ages and Regency era English history in school) enjoyed it. But maybe I underestimated the universal comedic appeal of it. I've oversold it now and you're bound to be disappointed.
