I never watched the first one. Wasn't it supposed to be a charicature of school shooters or sumptin? And is batman in it? Movies are fucking gay. I'd rather watch somebody speed run a Pokémon game

It's weird you say that because the 1st thing I saw on YT today was a projection for how it's going to do. They spent $500m on it total and it's not even coming close to the opening figure the 1st one had ($96m 1st weekend, totalled $1bn after). This one's from Forbes I think
Sequels used to be a lock no matter how bad they were so long as the 1st movie wwas a success, they've even managed to fuck that up.

I saw it once and have no desire to ever watch it again. It was very obviously inspired by The King of Comedy and Taxi Driver, to the point where DeNiro is even in it, just in case it wasn't obvious enough. Batman is still a little kid in it and doesn't do anything. I don't remember any butt rape but hopefully there is and I just forgot about it

Sequels used to bomb more often than not at the box office. Godfather II made less than half of the first movie. Aliens made the same as Alien despite a massive marketing campaign. It's usually rare for a franchise to make more money in its sequels than the first. And sequels usually get double the marketing of the first so you make even less money in the long run.
Whenever a sequel makes more than the first film you usually get a franchise like those Saw horror movies where they make 20 of them.

Gee, I wonder why Godfather II FAILED. Maybe something was missing. Perhaps a very important character and the namesake of the whole fucking franchise. Salvatore "The Godfather" Tessio, anyone?
They should've just used my screenplay, The Godfather 2: Full Throttle. I wrote a whole fucking badass action movie which was eventually stolen and turned into "The Transporter" with Jason Statham.
I used to show up to the set trying to get people to read it and I wasn't allowed in. One time I grabbed ahold of Bobby Deniro through a hole in a fence and wouldn't let go of him. I didn't hurt him or anything, I just held him there for 3 minutes while like 10 people tried to pull me off. I put an ancient gypsy curse on him lol. It worked too.
