If God truly loved you He'd have made you taller
That woman who killed herself.

Not really sure what that was all added for. If she killed herself over going on Stern then she's a dummy

Kinda surprised they spent a fair amount of time on that, but no time on Steve C when you could easily edit the multitude of clips of him getting bullied on-air.

Shit they could have shown Opie's crew of Opie, Sherrod, Carl, and Vic and then go into how Carl & Vic both passed away prematurely. It's the Dark Side of the 2000s, let's get fucking dark.

both Tim Sabean & the former XM exec' said O&A were 2nd choice to Stern, if it wasn't for another XM exec allegedly offending Howie by complimenting Imus then O&A would've been left on the shitheap. Weird to think about considering the undeniable influence they had on comedy / podcasting.

Still don't know who this Matt guy is, he's got a podcast; seems like some very basic O&A lore - nothing remarkable either way but surprised we weren't aware of it:

I was only jokin'
Started it and got bored halfway through the first episode. There was some things I don't know about Howard's rise, but I always thought he was an attention-seeking douche ("Fart Man" tee hee) and the whole "shock jock" aspect of these shows was corny. I only listened to O&A because I was a big Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn fan and that's where those comics went after it got the boot. The "edgy" obscenity stuff, pornstars on air, wacky stunts, etc. were yawn inducing and I couldn't give two shits about them. The radio beefs too I never cared for. Bunch of fake tough guys that would probably try to blow you if you actually caught them in a fair fight situation. Really liked the radio show just for the comedy and them shitting on how lame mainstream pop culture had become.
