This is a benchmark case for all future "SWATTings" of America.

Patrick very sloppily and provably paid a teenager to SWAT his house (who knows how many times) and is going to be awarded a settlement.

The city’s lawyers have NOT mentioned the media tour nor any statements Pat/Nik made during it. Nor have they ever mentioned Pat’s Twitter activities nor any individual tweets.

If they settle it's coming with an NDA for both parties and no admission of wrongdoing/no punishment for any of the cops. Which is why I think there's a non-zero chance they/Rick would refuse a settlement.

Rick would almost certainly violate an NDA at some point, too, and I think both Niki and Lynne know that. Agreeing to a settlement could open them up to even more issues down the road.
