That seems to be the downfall of every prosecution that faces good lawyers. There are so many dumb cops that even a small amount of digging usually turns up a decent defense. In the cops' defense, they aren't there preparing for a lawsuit, they are there to make sure Chubby Cheesesteak isn't making pepperoni.

A cop in the OJ case went into the house, grabbed a blanket and tossed it over the bloody corpse of Nicole to prevent the photographers from taking photos of the body. I don't know if it will matter or not? But the recording that torswats posted wasn't a call to the MPD, it was a veterans crisis line and they notified the police. That little psycho had to get creative because direct calls weren't working anymore. Seems fucked up that Rick might get paid even though the police only showed up a handful of times and the person making the calls went way above and beyond in order to make that happen. Didn't patpost other than on his telegram re swattings, was probably aware of him through kiwifarms, as many of his targets besides schools and politicians were prominent lolcows or adjacent. Many of them were swatted, some several times but none acted the way Pat did on his first one (or if they did, no angel provided audio evidence for everyone to laugh at).

Keep it mind, since this is federal court, the jury would be made up of any citizen in the eastern half of Wisconsin, since that is this court's territory. So the jury will be whiter and more Republican than a jury from just the city of Milwaukee.

Edit: The jury pool might only be from the southeast section of Wisconsin, since Green Bay has its own Division. Still, it covers a lot of white and Republican counties.
