Hold on one more. People are pointing out Pats use of the words “bully” in the document. Could it be that the lawyer advised him to put that word in there, specifically, because saying “stalkers” or “criminals” holds too much weight? (i.e, how are they bullying you? “They call me fat.” Yeah that sounds like bullying. As opposed to How are they stalking you? “They call me fat.” And thats stalking how?)
but you’re forgetting about STATE LINES

No, this one is about money.
Fame too. They absolutely want local news, national news, and talk shows on top of this and to become celebrities over it, and to capitalize on the fame. That's why they're also demanding a jury trial. If they just wanted a quick settlement they've probably been told all of the details of a settlement would be confidential, so they couldn't get themselves another media tour without risking breaching the terms of their settlement agreement.

No, this one is about money.
I mean it could be both. This is the same guy who thinks stating accusations in media articles is evidence that can be submitted to a court as proof the accusation is true. Its not far off to assume that (In Pats retarded fat brain) he thinks if the judge rules the cops were in the wrong, he could then use that decision against Dan or etc etc in any further court documents. “A judge said the police were harassing me, Dan called the police on me, so Dan is harassing me.”

Hell even if the judge rules against Pat theres a chance he would use the fact that he submitted this case at all as evidence of something. “A lawyer wouldn’t sign off on this if my claims had no merit” etc.

You always demand a jury trial when you want a settlement because it’s more expensive for them to go through that. He wants money so he can have his vroom vroom car and bigger, shittier vacations.

And yeah, he wants the attention too but most of all he wants money. His whole life is about rubbing his riches in everyone’s face.

He considers himself a big celebrity. He's been fantasizing about taking the stand against people he feels have wronged him for years. He sees televised coverage of high profile trials and hearings, envies the "stars" of them, and longs for the day where he can have that much of a spotlight on himself. He needs to be able to run his mouth about this and definitely does not want to sign anything which tells him to shut the fuck up about it if he "wins".

I guess i’m thinking too rationally. That if you went to school for 8 years just to work in a job you would do anything to make sure those 8 years aren’t a waste…look at someone like Resto. Representing Pat basically set back his career and it was for nothing.
I know suits that have had their BAR card suspended for multi year terms just because they wanted to be assholes in depositions. Ocean of Saul Goodmans.

Because 99/100 times nothing happens. Lawyers break the law and are unethical all the time and nothing ever happens. In this instance though, Brinton J Resto committed a crime by submitting illegally obtained evidence.

Forgive me I haven’t followed the finer details but did Gibney end up motioning for sanctions on that? I know it wouldn’t have gone anywhere but it’s always fun to make pricks like Resto sweat and answer for their horseshit.

Not that I'm aware of. How would he do that and maintain his anonymity?

19 pages and nobody has pointed out the funniest outcome would be Pat winning a million bucks?

Pay close attention to how nervous the Gibster is.
If he did he'd be dead within a year. There's a reason he's a broke deadbeat. He's not supposed to have money because he doesn't understand it. He thinks it's just pieces of paper with pictures on to buy stuff you like. He'd buy a moronically impractical car, maybe a boat (both zero resale value) and then drink and eat himself to death. He probably wouldn't even move house.

What venue was this is again? California? I don’t see why in most cases his attorney wouldn’t be the one to motion purely in the context of the specific case, no dox necessary. Too late now but yeah

I assume quasi looked into it as figured it wasn't worth the hassle and cost. Courts have in the past also ruled initially to maintain anonymity and then it was appealed or the judge just said, you can file it anonymously but i changed my mind now you need to identify yourself. It wouldn't be worth it. Especially as quasi is scared of patrick s tomlinson killing him, as Patrick s tomlinson has claimed he will do once he identifies quasi.

Fair enough, I imagined it had to do with adding a couple grand to da budget that nobody could guarantee our friend quasi would be able to recuperate

They want to become prominent activists for “police reform” to gain fame which they think will lead to book deals / tv appearances / speaking gigs / etc. - Niki even said it on the media tour.
