Recall his lawyerbot chatlog. He complained that no lawyers will take his case due to the complexity and special boy-ness of the situation. In reality, he was undoubtedly told "Sorry sir, I just don't see how this would succeed. There's no case here" by every lawyer in Wisconsin.
I'd wager my left nut that his previous lawyer said hey look, this isn't going to work and we should quit while we're ahead, they clearly have a better case than us.. And got childed and lectured until either Pat left or the lawyer dropped them as clients.

If Fatso and his retarded wife and mother in law are still trying to push this toward a trial, it's no surprise another lawyer from the same firm has signed on to this frivolous lawsuit (and the existing lawyers are probably sick of Fatso and running out of excuses to blow off his emails and phone calls). Fatso will need to come up with a pretty fawkin yuge amount of money to take this to trial unless these clowns are doing it pro-bono for press attention. If it's the latter, expect these hayseed hacks to send a press release out if a trial date is set.
