I think people have been telling him he acts like a child for his whole life and it really bothers him. We have seen and heard his tantrums. He tries to act calm and in control but it doesnt take much for his mask to slip and then he lashes out and has a meltdown. He thinks he looks and sounds tough and intimidating when he is throwing a tantrum but in reality its like a 6 year old kicking and screaming in the toy aisle because mommy wont buy him one.
