Unless I'm hallucinating this, I think he either wrote on or put a sticker on the lid of his laptop that said something along the lines of "ask me about my Kiwifarms thread", I remember a photo of his laptop in like Hooligans or some other bar, he probably posted it.

If I had to guess it would've been during the whole Cloudflare Kiwifarms kerfuffle when he was trying to "me! me! me!" his way into that drama.

I listened to the entire thing. There's just so much to digest.

Niki definitely made a huge heel turn with this. She was never a face (I mean, just look at her) but she didn't seem invested or involved until this podcast.

She's culpable but there's a tiny thing she said that makes me feel slightly sorry for her. She said at one point that us pests know everything, everything! They find out everything! Like her mom in the hospital, etc. etc.

The very first real swaTTing that we speculate that Patrick orchestrated himself, Niki was not present. She had been on travel and Patrick was at the half-hovel, alone. The SwaT was called into the next door but the cops went to Patrick instead.

Then there was no swaTTing after Patrick lost his phone in the water on vacation. Then when they came back, swaTTings resumed.

I think Patrick convinced her that we really do know everything they do. And from her perspective, why shouldn't she believe it? She married someone who had a bright and promising career who ultimately became just as miserable as she is, and now (kitchen) sunk cost fallacy has set in. If she leaves him now, we win, and besides the pests will just follow her for the rest of her life because of all this so why not stay with retard?

It *can't* be that Patrick knows everything they do and just uses that information to trick her -- no, it's that we're just grade A cyberstlakers.

Not defending her, but since she's dumb enough to believe everything Patrick says apparently, I can see why she thinks as she does.

Also, curiously not mentioned was that SFWA gave Patrick $100k for his lawsuit. Patrick is a monumental fuck up. I don't think I could fail as hard if I tried.

She is in a rough spot. She obviously makes more than him, so if they get divorced, she will be the one to get divorce raped. She is also on the hook for the judgement just as much as Fatso is, only she is much more collectable than he is, and is likely next in line after Fatso's financial details are revealed to quasi.

It's not in any way legal, though there are surprisingly soft penalties for doing it, owing in part to the fact that any politician who introduces legislation to crack down on it immediately gets swatted along with their friends and family
