Well, yes, I guess I would. If I were a guy who brought someone else into the business who made both of us famous, and I did my own part, by setting them up with awesome bits by having incredible producers and setting up an environment in which they could be funny, and I understood that I would not be funny without them, and we needed each other to survive, yes, I would walk out on the job and start a new show with them. Jimmy and Opie should’ve left immediately and started a new network with Anthony.
If they had, might’ve created something really incredible at a time when we needed free speech at a time when we needed people saying things that are unpopular.
Can you imagine if they had started some kind of new show branded around free-speech? Everyone today is dying for free speech to the point that they think people like Joe Rogan are actually important. Joe Rogan is OK, but the message he represents is way bigger than he is. He gets to say shit that other people don’t want him to say and through that, he is popular. Can you imagine if Opie and Anthony and Jim broke off all together and started a new platform, maybe a podcast, predicated on the importance of free speech? Predicated on the very simple idea of just being funny? They could’ve done something special but Opie and Jim decided to be faggots and Anthony decided to be an even bigger faggot and none of this ever came together.
For as gay as all of these guys have become in the recent years, I don’t think for a second that they could not have done something special had they decided to unite together and done something which would’ve been, at that time, nee and revolutionary.
Look at the success of cumtown.
Almost everything they say is controversial and cancelable, even when they don’t mean it.
Just by being funny and saying anything they want to say, they have a big following among the right and among the left.
Those guys are even liberal fruits and socialists, now imagine what Opie and Anthony and Jim could’ve accomplished being middle of the road guys just trying to be funny.
Saying whatever they wanted to say, the same way Cumtown does. They blew an opportunity that will never come by again. Well, I guess it could if they decided to be men and stop being faggots and reunite and do something special. None of them are good on their own, but all of them together were special. They could do that again if they really wanted to, even if they are old and washed up, because that’s how bad media is right now. Even these guys could probably put together a show, or a podcast, that would do really good numbers. They really could.
If they all decided tomorrow to stop being faggots, Most of the people who hate them now would stop hating them or at least stop hating them enough to at listen.
Come on, admit it. If the three of them got back together tomorrow and started doing material that was dark, and what would be considered racist, or homophobic, evil, or non-woke, you would listen. You know you would. You absolutely know you would.
