I've been getting strong "shoot someone soon" vibes from him lately. I know we call him a coward (because he is) but a person can only take so many embarrassing losses before they snap, and with Patrick, like many cowards, he'll hurt others before he gets a scratch.

I agree. Once he started swatting himself I think he has radicalized himself and trying every extreme option for media attention. At some point he will act out in public. He has exhausted almost all his internet extremes. At this point nobody cares about his swatting garbage and that is about as extreme as it gets on the internet.
