Pat's confusion coreader is *legally* mentally disabled and her accomodations include not having to hear anything negative about her.

Cat Rambo 2.0

Patrick finds yet another lonely, mentally ill cat lady to grow on like a tumor and get himself into convention readings, or have a table were he doesn't warrant one otherwise.

He doesn't even have a bio on the Confusion website like this goofy lunatic, so you know he just latched onto her reading slot with his sob story and narcissistic manipulation.

She needs to get a full mental grip. And I say this as someone diagnosed with managed neuropathy (if unmanaged or if I get very stressed/fatigued it's very painful and mobility-limiting) and agoraphobia (why else would I be posting here), who struggles to go out and keep a full-time job longer than a few years.

Perhaps she could go part-time or do seasonal/gig work--you get a few months off then, albeit less money & pension. Could she work as a guide/reception for a tourist centre that closes in the winter? Home tutor in English, IT skills or basic primary school subjects? Proof-read or mark exams? Draw up wills or someone's home business accounts? (my aunt does that from home) House sit or watch pets for local people? I don't know, that's just off the top of my head.

I’ve been working basically from bed for over a year now.

What more specifically do you do, character? Asking for a friend who needs a career pivot.

"doctors have ruled that any traditional employment would kill me" Have they?

Doctors = twitter users she talks to who pretend to be doctors, and give her a thumbs up react when she says "if I work I'll die right?"
Doctors are usually in the habit of telling people they will literally die if they get a job.

Just a typical laptop job. All emails, excel sheets and Zoom meetings.

God fucking dammit, why the fuck do these shitheads take so much pride in being fucking invalids. I'm wildly bipolar and have been Danny-Rossed to the loony bin twice. It's my greatest shame. I wish I was normal so I just try to behave like a normal person. It works for me, for the most part. My one ex didn't believe I was bipolar when it came up and she gave a bunch of examples of her sister and her ex being uncontrollable psychos constantly and got pissy when I was like "I am though. I'm supposed to be on like a tranq dart level of meds so I'm just zombified but instead I just try not to be an asshole. Sounds like your sister and your ex are just selfish assholes."

Also, what does this bitch claim to have PTSD from? I'm gonna go right ahead and eliminate rape.
Abe they’re not even people.

He'll toss her aside like Cat and everyone else once they've outlived their usefulness.
